Ananya Das, AB'05, MBA'13 (Kellogg - Northwestern)

Investment Banking Associate, Barclays

Ms. Das graduated from the College in 2005 with a degree in economics and South Asian languages and civilizations. While at the College, she was elected Student Government VP of Student Affairs and held various leadership roles with the South Asian Students Association. Prior to attending the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, her career was focused on Sales Effectiveness and Executive Compensation consulting, most recently with Willis Towers Watson. Upon obtaining her MBA in 2013, she joined the Investment Banking Division at Barclays in Chicago. She is married to a fellow College graduate and lives in Chicago.

Vivek Pattipati, AB'07, AB'07, MBA'13 (Harvard Business School)

Director, Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC

Mr. Pattipati graduated from the College in 2007 with degrees in economics and statistics. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and was actively involved with Chicago Society. He participated in two Jeff Metcalf Summer Internships: The Pritzker Organization and Goldman Sachs. After graduating from the College, he spent two years at Goldman Sachs in New York and two years at Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP) in Chicago. He spent the next two years attending Harvard Business School and graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar in 2013, at which point he rejoined MDP to focus on buyout and growth investments across a variety of industries. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Performance Health and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Illinois Venture Capital Association.

Patrick Phillips, AM'92, AB'92

Assistant Director, University of Chicago

Mr. Phillips graduated from the College in 1992 with a AB in public policy and an MA in social science. While in the College, he was involved with the Organization of Black Students (OBS), Campus Theater, WHPK, tutoring, and was an Office of Admissions volunteer. Upon graduating, Mr. Phillips began his career as a private banker and stock broker with Northern Trust in Chicago. After 10 years at Northern Trust he spent another 15 years as a wealth advisor for such firms as Citigroup, Ameriprise Financial, and Robert W. Baird & Co. He lives in Chicago with three children and Patrick's hobbies include martial arts, biking, jogging, reading, and travel.

Connie Zhai, AB'00

Director, Pricewater House Cooper Corporate Finance LLC

Ms. Zhai graduated from the College in 2000 with a degree in economics. While attending College, she was deeply involved in RSOs such as Asian Student Union, Doc Films, Council on University Programming and Student Government's finance committee. She served as lead/co-lead event planners for large college-sponsored events such as International Food Festival, Spring Breeze and Mardi Gras. She has been working in the investment banking sector, focusing in healthcare and higher education, for over 16 years. She currently is a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance, where she focuses on building out the healthcare provider M&A advisory platform. She lives in Chicago, and continues to be an active member of the University community through mentoring both college and graduate school students in career development, participating in various events with UChicago's Career Advancement, and serving as a member of the Class of 2000 Reunion Committee.
