Erin Archer, AB'00, MBA'06

Ms. Archer graduated from the College in 2000 with concentrations in biological sciences and law, letters & society. She received an MBA from Chicago Booth in 2006. After graduation from the College, she spent 15 years working in Equity Research on both the buy-side and sell-side, in Chicago, Minneapolis, London and South Africa. In late 2015, Ms. Archer joined DePaul University in Chicago as Director of Investments, where she works with the Board of Trustees to support their stewardship of the school's endowment. She is also a fiduciary of DePaul's defined contribution plan. Finally, she is a former Trustee of The Thacher School (Ojai, California) and a former member of the Visiting Committee of the College of the University of Chicago.
Brandon Arnold, AB'09

Mr. Arnold joined Mizuho Securities in 2013 as an associate in the Health Care Investment Banking group. He advises corporations in the health care industry on a variety of corporate finance matters including capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Mizuho, he started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an analyst with the investment bank, specializing in the high-grade debt capital markets. Mr. Carlisle graduated from the College in 1983 with a degree in business and then from the Booth School of Business in 1984 with an MBA, concentrating in finance. Immediately after graduation, he joined the Middle Market Banking Group at American National Bank, a predecessor bank to JPMorgan Chase. He spent much of his career in positions of increasing responsibility in Chase Middle Market Banking. He is currently an executive vice president at Wintrust Financial Corporation, and manages Wintrust's middle market banking business.
Hui Min Chang, AB'13

Ms. Chang graduated from the College in 2013 with a double major in economics and art history. While in the College, she was actively involved with MUNUC, the Singaporean Society and the Smart Museum of Art. Upon graduation, she joined Morningstar, Inc. where she is currently an associate investment analyst. She supports portfolio managers in the investment process, assisting with capital markets research, fund manager due diligence as well as portfolio construction.
Tom Costello, AB'00, MBA'07

Mr. Costello is a Principal with Baird Capital a mid-market private equity firm based in Chicago, where he sources, evaluates, and structures technology and services transactions. Prior to joining Baird in 2007, he spent four years with the private equity firm Chicago Growth Partners. Before Chicago Growth Partners, he spent two years as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers in Chicago. He received an AB in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. During his time at the College he was a four year letter winner for the football and baseball teams as well as a two-time captain of the baseball team. Tom is married to his wife Irene (AB '00) and has twin sons. Tom and Irene started the Twin Hearts Autism Foundation in 2010.
Ananya Das, AB'05, MBA'13 (Kellogg - Northwestern)

Ms. Das graduated from the College in 2005 with a degree in economics and South Asian languages and civilizations. While at the College, she was elected Student Government VP of Student Affairs and held various leadership roles with the South Asian Students Association. Prior to attending the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, her career was focused on Sales Effectiveness and Executive Compensation consulting, most recently with Willis Towers Watson. Upon obtaining her MBA in 2013, she joined the Investment Banking Division at Barclays in Chicago. She is married to a fellow College graduate and lives in Chicago.

Ms. Edwards graduated from the College in 2013 with a degree in economics. While in the College, she was the President of the Women in Business organization, a member and program assistant for UCIB, the Fundraising Director / New Member Educator for Kappa Alpha Theta, and a participant in the Global Water Brigades group. Ms. Edwards joined Victory Park Capital as an Investment Associate in 2015. She is responsible for due diligence and financial analysis related to new investment opportunities, and assists with portfolio monitoring and management of current investments in the Financial Technology sector. Previously, Ms. Edwards was an investment banking analyst in the Energy Group at J.P. Morgan in New York, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing transactions within the Power & Utilities space. She is also heavily involved with fundraising for the non-profit organization, Minds Matter, in her free time.

Ms. Fields graduated from the College in 2015 with a degree in economics. While in the College, she held an internship at Morningstar, Inc. that lasted during the school years and summers. After graduating, Ms. Fields joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an Analyst in Chicago. During her spare time, she is a devoted yoga practitioner who loves all types of fitness, and she continues to do volunteer work in the Chicago community.

Ms. Jin graduated from the College in 2015 with a degree in economics. While at the College, she was involved in PanAsia, Moneythink, and Smart Woman Securities. After graduation, she joined Broadhaven Capital Partners as an Investment Banking Analyst. She primarily works on M&A deals in the financial technology, asset management, and broker securities industries. Her interests include exploring Chicago neighborhoods and finding hip coffee shops, rock climbing, and traveling. After graduating from the College, he worked at BMO Capital Markets for a year in their public finance department, focusing on not-for-profit healthcare investment banking. Mr. Liew graduated from the College in 2015 with a degree in mathematics and economics. He was involved in the Uchicago Microfinance Initiative, MUNUC, and The Blue Chips. After graduating he traded at Volant Trading for a year. He currently trades commodities at IMC, a Dutch high-frequency trading firm. He has family in Singapore and is trying to find time to travel to the remaining 153 countries.

Mr. Liu graduated with a degree in economics from the College in 2009. During his time at the College, he was involved with International Leadership Council, as well as other business ventures. Mr. Pattipati graduated from the College in 2007 with degrees in economics and statistics. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and was actively involved with Chicago Society. After graduating from the College, he spent two years at Goldman Sachs in New York and two years at Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP) in Chicago. He spent the next two years attending Harvard Business School and graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar in 2013, at which point he rejoined MDP to focus on buyout and growth investments across a variety of industries. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Performance Health and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Illinois Venture Capital Association.
Patrick Phillips, AM'92, AB'92

Mr. Phillips graduated from the College in 1992 with a AB in public policy and an MA in social science. While in the College, he was involved with the Organization of Black Students (OBS), Campus Theater, WHPK, tutoring, and was an Office of Admissions volunteer. Upon graduating, Mr. Phillips began his career as a private banker and stock broker with Northern Trust in Chicago. After 10 years at Northern Trust he spent another 15 years as a wealth advisor for such firms as Citigroup, Ameriprise Financial, and Robert W. Baird & Co. He lives in Chicago with three children and Patrick's hobbies include martial arts, biking, jogging, reading, and travel.
Sunitha Thomas, AB'94, MBA Wharton

Ms. Thomas graduated from the College in 1994 with a degree in economics and Latin American studies. She is a Regional Portfolio Advisor at Northern Trust and advises clients on asset allocation, portfolio construction and investments. She has also been actively involved with the Music Institute of Chicago, the National Kidney Foundation and the Chicago CFA society. Both of her children attend the University of Chicago Lab School and she is actively involved in alumni activities.
Daniel Yeksigian, AB'06

Mr. Yeksigian graduated from the College in 2006 with a degree in economics. While in the College, he was a member of the UChicago Baseball Team where he was a four-year letter winner and two-time MVP. Mr. Yeksigian is currently a Vice President at Pritzker Group Asset Management in Chicago where he is involved in sourcing, diligence and analysis of the Firm's investments in hedge funds, distressed credit, and public equity markets. Prior to joining Pritzker Group in 2011, Mr. Yeksigian was an Associate within the Prime Services Group of Credit Suisse where he originated prime brokerage and equity swap business for hedge fund clients of the investment bank. Mr. Yeksigian currently lives in Chicago with his wife and son.
Connie Zhai, AB'00

Ms. Zhai graduated from the College in 2000 with a degree in economics. While attending College, she was deeply involved in RSOs such as Asian Student Union, Doc Films, Council on University Programming and Student Government's finance committee. She served as lead/co-lead event planners for large college-sponsored events such as International Food Festival, Spring Breeze and Mardi Gras. She has been working in the investment banking sector, focusing in healthcare and higher education, for over 16 years. She currently is a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance, where she focuses on building out the healthcare provider M&A advisory platform. She lives in Chicago, and continues to be an active member of the University community through mentoring both college and graduate school students in career development, participating in various events with UChicago's Career Advancement, and serving as a member of the Class of 2000 Reunion Committee.
