Max Leichtman, AB'99, MBA'07
Manager, Investment Strategy, Commonwealth Edison
Mr. Leichtman is the Manager of Investment Strategy at Commonwealth Edison, a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation. His responsibilities include overseeing the development of ComEd's $2B annual investment plan for transmission and distribution assets. Previously, Mr. Leichtman served as Manager, Regulatory Projects and Assistant Chief of Staff to Exelon's Chairman and CEO. He began his career at Exelon in the Finance organization. Before coming to Exelon, he worked in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Chicago and served as a policy adviser for US Senator Phil Gramm. Mr. Leichtman is a 1999 University of Chicago graduate with a degree in political science. In 2007, he received an MBA from the Booth School of Business. Mr. Leichtman lives in Naperville and is married to a College alumna and formerly served on the UChicago Alumni Board for seven years.
