Ready to take your next step at UChicago and accelerate your career? Join us for Taking the Next Step (TNS), a signature event from Career Advancement exclusively for first-year students!
Learn about the many opportunities to gain experience and develop professionally throughout college and transition academic passions, skills, and talents into a post-graduate career – starting with planning for your first summer!
Come learn about career pathways and how to pursue opportunities that will help you reach your professional goals, whether that’s meeting an alum through job shadowing, connecting with employers through a trek or Careers in... event, or building new skills through a career competition. You’ll also hear from your peers about their career story and how they’ve leveraged opportunities to pursue their professional goals. Join us for dinner and strategic tips to set yourself up for success, and then leave with a plan and some exclusive UChicago TNS swag!
